Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up, and the QR codes have no watermark or expiry.
Is my text or link sent to a server?
No. The QR code is drawn in your browser, so what you type stays on your device.
Will the QR code stop working?
No. The code stores your text directly, so it works as long as the link or text itself is valid.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium suits most uses. Choose High or Max if the code will be printed small or may get scuffed, at the cost of a denser pattern.
What size should I download?
Larger is safer for print. 512px or more is usually enough for posters and flyers, and 256px works on screens.
