Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy covers the public Eyrie blog (pages under /blog) and, in the section below, the account information collected when you sign in to the Eyrie app.

Information we collect

You can read the blog without an account. We do not ask for personal details to read articles. Your browser stores one preference locally (light or dark theme); it never leaves your device.

Signing in to the Eyrie app

If you sign in with Google, we store your email address, name and profile picture, along with the time of your most recent sign-in or visit and the IP address it came from. We use the IP address only to keep the service secure and to investigate abuse or suspicious activity. Only the latest IP address is kept, it is visible only to administrators, and it is deleted when your account is deleted.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to measure ad performance and to prevent fraud. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and India), you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown and can change your choice at any time from the consent message.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Third-party services

Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may collect your IP address and browsing information when ads are displayed. We do not control those cookies. Please review their privacy policies for details.

Children

The blog is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Educational content only

Articles are for education and are not investment, tax or legal advice. Markets carry risk; speak to a qualified professional before acting.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest revision. Questions? See the Contact page.
