What are meta tags and Open Graph tags?
Meta tags tell search engines the title and description of a page. Open Graph and Twitter card tags control the title, description and image shown when the link is shared on social apps.
How long should a title and description be?
Keep the title under about 60 characters and the description under about 160, or search engines may cut them off. The counters turn red when you go over.
What image size should I use for og:image?
Use an image around 1200×630 pixels (1.91:1) at a public https URL. Most platforms crop other shapes.
Where do I paste the generated tags?
Paste them inside the <head> of your page. In Next.js you can set the same values through the metadata export.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Tags and previews are generated in your browser. The image preview loads the image URL you enter directly from its own server.
