How do I pretty print JSON?
Paste it in the Input box and click Format / prettify. Choose 2 spaces, 4 spaces or tabs for indentation.
What does escape and unescape do?
Escape turns quotes, backslashes and line breaks into sequences like \" and \n so text can sit inside a JSON string. Unescape reverses it.
Why does it say my JSON is invalid?
Common causes are trailing commas, single quotes instead of double quotes, unquoted keys and comments. The error message points at the problem.
Can it minify JSON?
Yes. Minify removes all extra whitespace to make the JSON as small as possible.
